At least most election consultants (and they do exist) will tell you that.
What I want you to do...is consider your vote. It's not that this is an earth changing moment. The city of Waterloo is a fair sized ship. It's going to travel in a certain direction for a while. Roads still need to be fixed and plowed. Developments still need to be okayed and debated.
Really though, as the election approaches, I'd like you to take some time to consider all the information out there. Over the past six weeks, (or many years if you're a long time listener or reader) I have not been shy about expressing my thoughts.
Sometimes you will disagree with them. Sometimes you won't. Sometimes you won't care. All of that is OK. But at least you have made the effort to see who is out there, at every electable position, and who you are comfortable with.
That's really all I ask. If at the end of that process you opt to vote for me, then thank you. That's a good feeling. If you opt for someone else, I assume you will have considered reasons for that
That process makes you an informed and dutiful voter. And we need more of those.!
