I will say staff, and current councillors are a very helpful bunch, and seem quite happy to deal with someone who may have a large number of stupid questions. But questions, of all types, are what get you answers.
My councillor elect binder is about six inches thick, and chock full of things I'm pretty sure I wasn't sure I needed to know. But it's all been quite valuable.
Yesterday I piled onto a bus with the rest of council, and we were taken on a tour of city facilities. Even after 32 years here, I learned a few things.
In the meantime, even before Monday's official start, I'm fielding questions...some about snow...some about sidewalks, and some about things as diverse as Waterloo Town square.
So keep them coming. I can't promise all the answers. But I'll try to find them.
